Annapurna Circuit Trek

Join us on the Annapurna Circuit Trek, a thrilling journey through picturesque villages, lush forests, and high mountain passes. Experience stunning views crossing Thorong La, the highest pass in the world at 5416(!) m, and explore the rich cultures of Manang and Muktinath.

  • Accommodation: 11 nights in traditional Nepalese "teahouses" during the trek and 2 nights in a hotel in Kathmandu of minimum 3 stars rating.

Itinerary:

 

**⮚ Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu / Meet & Greet** 

Upon your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our team will greet you and transfer you to your hotel in the bustling Thamel district. Take some time to explore this vibrant area.

 

**⮚ Day 2: Drive to Besishahar and Trek to Bhulbhule (840 m)** 

We start with a drive to Besishahar, the gateway to the Annapurna Circuit. From Besishahar, we trek to Bhulbhule, passing through picturesque villages and terraced fields. 

- **Driving Duration:** 6-7 hours 

- **Walking Distance:** 8 km 

- **Duration:** 2-3 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 3: Trek to Jagat (1300 m)** 

Today's trek takes us through lush forests and small villages. We cross several suspension bridges and enjoy views of cascading waterfalls as we make our way to Jagat. 

- **Walking Distance:** 14 km 

- **Duration:** 5-6 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 4: Trek to Dharapani (1860 m)** 

We continue our journey, trekking through forests and along the Marsyangdi River. We pass through the villages of Chamje and Tal before reaching Dharapani. 

- **Walking Distance:** 15 km 

- **Duration:** 5-6 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 5: Trek to Chame (2670 m)** 

The trail ascends through forests of pine and oak, and we begin to see stunning views of Lamjung Himal and Annapurna II. We pass through the village of Bagarchhap and reach Chame, the district headquarters of Manang. 

- **Walking Distance:** 16 km 

- **Duration:** 5-6 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 6: Trek to Pisang (3300 m)** 

Today's trek takes us through dense forests and past several small villages. We cross a long suspension bridge over the Marsyangdi River before reaching Pisang.

- **Duration:** 5-6 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 7: Trek to Manang (3540 m)** 

We trek to Manang, passing through the villages of Ghyaru and Ngawal, which offer panoramic views of the Annapurna range. We descend to the valley floor and continue to Manang. 

- **Walking Distance:** 19 km 

- **Duration:** 6-7 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 8: Acclimatization Day in Manang** 

We spend the day acclimatizing in Manang. Optional activities include a hike to Gangapurna Lake or exploring the village and its surroundings.

 

**⮚ Day 9: Trek to Yak Kharka (4050 m)** 

We leave Manang and make our way to Yak Kharka. The trail ascends gradually, and we enjoy views of the Annapurna range and Gangapurna. 

- **Walking Distance:** 10 km 

- **Duration:** 4-5 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 10: Trek to Thorong Phedi (4450 m)** 

Today's trek takes us to Thorong Phedi, the base camp for the Thorong La Pass. We pass through Ledar and continue our ascent. 

- **Walking Distance:** 7 km 

- **Duration:** 4-5 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 11: Cross Thorong La Pass (5416 m) and Trek to Muktinath (3800 m)** 

We start early to cross the Thorong La Pass, the highest point of our trek. The ascent is challenging, but the panoramic views from the pass are worth it. We then descend to Muktinath, a sacred pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists.

- **Duration:** 7-8 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 12: Trek to Jomsom (2720 m)** 

We descend to the Kali Gandaki Valley and trek to Jomsom. The landscape changes dramatically as we enter the rain shadow of the Annapurna range. 

- **Walking Distance:** 20 km 

- **Duration:** 5-6 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 13: Fly to Pokhara** 

We take a morning flight from Jomsom to Pokhara, enjoying stunning views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The rest of the day is free to explore the lakeside city of Pokhara. 

- **Flight Duration:** 20 minutes 

 

**⮚ Day 14: Drive Back to Kathmandu** 

We drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying the scenic views along the way. Once in Kathmandu, you can relax or explore more of the city. 

- **Driving Duration:** 6-7 hours 

 

**⮚ Day 15: Departure** 

After breakfast, we'll transfer you to the airport for your departure, bidding you farewell until your next adventure in Nepal.
